Who am I?
I am Eelko Berkenpies and I was born on the 14-08-1983 in Assen (Drenthe, The Netherlands).

 

What is this site about?
This site has combined two of my hobbies, photography and web development. I have practiced my photography skills in recent years and I am currently employed as web developer (Digitalus Webhosting & Webdesign). I consider myself to be an adept programmer and possess limited design skills.

 

Could you send me a large(r) picture so I can use it?
Yes, I could. All the online images are released under a Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Netherlands License.That means you are free:

All the images have a resolution of 1000x667 pixels and are unmodified. The images have been scaled and then saved in Paint.net 3.x with a JPG quality setting of 95%. If you would like to make use of a higher resolution picture (most are shot at 5184x3456 or greater) feel free to contact me. Depending on the use I might charge a small fee for it or have a special agreement along with it, since photography is primarily my hobby a usage fee (if any) will be considerably lower than a professional photographer would charge.

 

Equipment:
As of 20-05-2011 I am using a Canon 60D (18 megapixels) for most pictures. Previous pictures have been captured with a Canon EOS 450D (12.2 megapixels) or Konika Minolta Dimage G600 (6 megapixels) camera.
